Combines are a traditional method for teams and sports to find and develop new talent. A combine tests athletic skills such as speed, power, strength and agility to identify future top players for the sport. No Combines for mountain biking exist . . .  until now. 

The Stereo Racing DH Combine, with the support of their partners, connect the fastest U17 racers from around the province with mentorship from Canada’s most accomplished racers and Cycling industry veterans.

Athlete Selection Process

In 2024 U15 – U17 Athletes were selected to come to the DH Combine based on their 2025 BC Cup / Canada Cup results.

In 2025 Athletes competed at the Jr. Coastal Qualifier on Cypress Mountain October 2026. Top 20 U15 and U17 boys and girls earned their spot at the DH Combine, November 7 – 9th 2025.

For the 2027 DH Combine U15 and U17 Athletes will be required to submit an Application.
